Good Crust family member, Nic Rad will be displaying his work January 5th through February 2nd at the Rare Gallery in NYC. The Gallery is located on 26th St. between 10th and 11th. If you’re in the area, make an effort to stop by. The Good Crust will surely be there and will post a media filled update following the event.

On Wednesday Sam Bey, of The Parlor Mob, and I took the train in to NYC to see The Wildbirds. They welcomed us with opened arms as we hung out in the basement of the venue and reminisced about last year’s South By Southwest Festival. After the show Sam and I had to full out sprint from Times Square to Penn Station to catch our train. Here’s a clip of the night.

This week there are two shows to catch in NYC. First, Sikamor Rooney will be performing at the Annex on Dec. 12th. Doors are at 8. If you go, by the time you’re done partying with the Sikamor Rooney guys it should roughly be around the time Scott Liss takes the stage at the Sidewalk Cafe on the evening of Dec. 13th.

The Wildbirds, our Wisconsin family members, have made the trek to New York and are performing tomorrow night. The Show is at the Hawaiian Tropic Zone in Times Square. Doors are at 8 and its $15 to get in. Come get waited on by bikini models while The Wildbirds do their thing.

If you were at the Nicole Atkins show at the Stone Pony this Saturday but came late you missed an opportunity to be entertained by Scott Liss. Scott opened the night with his always brilliant set and debuted what I believe to be a brand new song. I guess you can say it’s a bit different direction than some other stuff of his and he kills it. Here’s his performance of the new track.
